Tuesday, November 30, 2004 liu yi fei!just watched tian long ba bu vcd and must say that liu yi fei is gorgeous! okay mebbe not gorgeous, pixie-faced cute maybe. she's only 17 this year and she's acting in such big movies already, pretty amazing...first its wang yu yan, and next it's gonna be xiao long nu on return of condor heroes! i tink she acted pretty well, not excellent but for a 17 year old its definitely favourable. tian long was really quite heart wrenching, esp the part about qiao feng and ah zhu. and then lots and lots of people died. bleah. louis cha just had to kill ah zhu. but then if he didn't, it wouldn't be quite the same. the only part i din like about this series was that the blood spraying was a tad unrealistic. and there was a lot of blood cos lotsa ppl died. otherwise it was pretty good in staying true to the original storyline, just like legend of condor heroes. gonna borrow yi tian, but from what i saw on tv, it didn't really keep to the original storyline, which sucks cos i very much prefer the original. can't wait for RoCH! teo spoke at 1:31 AM *** Monday, November 29, 2004 soccercant believe it. beckham's strike agains levante was freakin shen. he got un assist summore. blardi hell. totally unlike wad he is capable of. maybe hes on drugs...and barca won again. yay dammit juve drew 2-2 closer to home... lets plae soccer every sat frm now on dis sat go sch at 8 to plae ok? everybodi hu reads dis... spread the word takugo spoke at 8:48 PM *** JOKES!!! Who should I see but a whole bunch of ppl fooling around with some advanced equipment. Somehow i walked up to Sinchi , who was in a corner using a laptop and some more cheem stuff. He looked to be pouring sucrose solution into some beaker which was connected to electrodes connected to a rat, completing the circuit and doing something bad to the rat. I asked him,"Hey, what are you doing?" He replied,"We're doing some fun thing, like a computer game." Of course my interest was stoked, and I enquired further about what exactly they were doing. - Insert part I cant recall here - Then somehow I encountered Mrs Tay in the lab, she seemed to be the one overseeing the experiment. She immediately grabbed me and told me to "go look for more people to get involved in the experiment". So I did, I went to 4P where I found some 4P guys stoning around there, so I told them "Mrs Tay wanted them to try some computer game stuff." And so they rushed there. Of course by this time I had magically learnt that this was some experiment meant to analyse your brain waves. But somehow I felt the innate responsibility to find even more people, and thus guess where I headed? Yes, I walked all the way to RGS! Of course it seemed only a short walk away. On the way there, I was talking to Angst, who was for some reason beside me and not at home mugging. I told him I was going to RGS, and he said something about having gone there for training, and how his coach made him do pull-ups for 1 hour on every single pull-up bar. But I digress. -Insert part I cant recall here about gathering people to go for the experiment- Me and a couple of other RI guys were thus left with the charge of leading a whole mass of RG girls(like at least 100 of them) to RI. Of course when I got to Bishan MRT I lost my way, but thankfully RI magically appeared next to it. And we proceeded into the school. When we got into school, we met Mr Tan Chee Wan at one of the staircases. He asked some familiar looking guy in civvies,"Are you from RI? Are you from ITE?" He then proceeded to tell me and the others to "remember to say your prayers". We then proceeded into the science lab, which by this time had transformed into a classroom which could accomodate 100 people easily. Everyone came into the lab, and Mrs Tay started her lecture about how learning how your brain wave works can change your destiny or something like that. Then, she started talking about what happens when you dont use her brain wave device thingy. She was talking about some poor guy who because he couldnt get what he wanted, resorted to some violent stuff. - Insert part I dont remember here - Suddenly, I found myself in the shoes of that poor guy! Yes, it seems that he had committed some damn serious crime and was running from the police. After evading the police for a damn long time(a la GTA 3) I magically jumped into a bus through the window(of course breaking the glass) and somehow escaped the police for a short period of time. In that short period of time I had, i spotted those kind of small buildings with a door which you find at the side of MRT stations. I thus went in to hide. In there, I was contemplating about the use of the brain wave thingy and wondering how it could change my life. Oh, then the alarm clock rang and my dream ended. " okay that's what i wrote like one week ago or sth but i saved it as a draft as i thought tt perhaps i shouldnt write such personal stuff on a team blog thingy.. but since teo has said its okay, yeah i decided to share abit of my experience with God... in the incident above, what actually happened was that i wanted to go very badly, but i knew my mum wasn't too keen about it... then at the same time i was talkin to joshua online... then after that, i went to my room and kinda prayed a little about it because joshua and mrs tay told me to do so.. yeah so i did and i prayed... at first i wasnt really too serious about the praying as i didnt really believe in it TT much? as in yeah i did believe tt God was there but i kinda doubted tt He could help in this case..? and during praying i asked God... i asked Him: "Lord i really really wanna go for this trip... i really do... and i hope that You will talk to my mum and convince her to let me go... if i can go, pls let there be some sign of some sort... like a star in e sky outside... (more)" yeah so after tt i looked out into the sky.. the sky was very very cloudy and dark... i looked everywhere but could not find a single spot of light, much less a star... but nonetheless i still went out of my room and asked my mum and she kinda hinted no..? yup so i was vv sad.. i went back to my room and cried a little... i just couldnt concentrate on studying and i just lay in my bed and started prayin really really hard... i was smsin my fren and mrs tay and they both kinda cheered me up and mrs tay told me to pray really really hard cos everytime she prayed God would answer her prayer... so i did.. and i prayed REALLY REALLY hard... and i asked God the same question and for the same sign again if He allowed me to go... and after much crying and praying, i walked to my window... and just before i opened the window to look out again from my room, i made one last heartfelt prayer and begged God to answer my prayer... and when i looked out, there it was, one bright shiny star that really shone with tremendous brightness, more than any other star i've seen... and im not lying here... the star REALLY appeared and it really brought a smile to my face... i prayed again and gave thanks to God, thanking Him for always being there for me everytime... the star might have been a coincidence, but i choose to think otherwise because i have faith in Him... the next day, my mum spoke to mrs tay and after much discussion and stuff (im skipping the details here), mrs tay walked out of the staffroom and approached me.. (i was having chinese then in school with mrs lau) and she told me that my mum finally allowed me to go... mrs tay told my mum that she shared all her experiences with God regarding this trip as well with my mum and my mum finally relented... mrs tay also told me tt she experienced many setbacks in this trip, but everytime all she did was to pray and God would answer her prayers... that was what i remembered... and its really really so so magical, that God would answer my prayers everytime... and i mean it, everytime... everytime, be it about exams or friendships or trouble or anything at all, whenever i have a problem, i would just pray really really hard and He would answer my prayers... that was what ive learnt from reading a book "Purpose Driven Life" (the first and only book ive read this yr) and im so glad my fren recommended this book to me but things between us now are err.. :/ oh well yup im just really thankful to her for that and anyway, the point here is that whenever i have any problem, i would turn to Him and He would solve them for me everytime without fail.... i thank the Lord for His grace and wonder... (: okay its quite hard for me to share all my experiences with God here but yeah all i wanna say is that He does really exist and getting to know Him this year thru leehoo and my church people was really the biggest and most important change in my life... previously, ive been really really bad and stuff, always doing mean things to others without considering how they feel etc.. but after converting, ive really learnt tt we should treat others the way we want them to treat us.. that is the reason why i try my best not to ostracise people but ive definitely failed to achieve complete success in tt aspect but ill continue trying... oh well its dinnertime for me now ill write more next time if i can.. but anyway just remember that God does exist and He watches EVERYTHING we do and there's nothing we can hide from Him, so think twice before everything you do... and i sincerely hope tt for all you guys out there who haven't got to know Him, im not demanding that you believe in Him but yeah just at the very least dun be sceptical about Him and stuff k... cos its really rude and wrong..? yeah that's all for now... and to end off here's a very interesting quote: Grace is when we get what we deserve,
tokalina spoke at 6:35 PM *** news.recent news are so depressing, sometimes when i just read e papers n look at e fotos i can't help but shed a tear or two:first there was the attack on the russian school. man carries in their arms the small frail bodies of the victims, covered in blood. the sheer fraily and fragileness of the human form photographed in full gore. massacre of the 49 iraqi army recruits. bodies strewn all over the floor. and now huang na. thinking of the crimes, sometimes i really harbor this dark wish that these culprits will die a horrible death, like get their bodies ripped up or something, so they'll know, even for that split second or so, just how much excruciating pain they've brought to their victims. and that's not even considering the damage they've done to the victims' loved ones. but thinking like that lowers me to their level, no? i really wonder sometimes if there is really a God or Jesus or Buddha or Allah up there. if there is, why do they let these people die? innocent school children trapped in a bomb laden school just cos their govt has problems with rebels? 49 men who love their country and want to do their part to restore order in their war-torn homeland, brutally murdered just cos those who killed them oppose american rule? an effervesenct, cheerful girl killed, and probably raped by a man her mother thought was a close fren? what on earth is the world coming to? i'm a buddhist. i've taken refuge in buddhism, which is roughly the equivalent of baptism, i tink. which means im supposed to be like devout. but many times i cannot help but question my own religion, or the very existence of religion. i mean i tink its wonderful that many ppl are fiercely devoted to their religion, esp christians like shuaku, tok and leehoo, the faith they show is tremendous. but aren't those up there supposed to help? even the beings up there are really divine i believe they should help everyone on earth who does good, regardless of their religion. i mean it makes no sense if say God doesn't help a buddhist in trouble just cos that guy doesn't believe in Him. if God is really as wonderful as he should be, he'd help everyone, right? cos he can do it, and he's filled with compassion, so he helps anyone who requires help. and that should be the same with Jesus and Buddha and Allah etc. but why do They tolerate the brutal deaths of innocent people? why? what sins are they being punished for? these people didn't do anything wrong, the children were innocent, the recruits did no wrong in signing up with the army to bring much needed security to iraq, huang na was just a 8 year old and she gets raped, then killed? not that i wanna say it, but that's a gazillion times worse than michael jackson, period. how do we prove that religion isn't just something that we pretend exists? animals were worshipped in the past for phenomena humans couldn't explain -- do today's celestial beings come about the same way? how do we know They really exist, has anyone really seen any of Them? i'm not dissing religion, no matter whether or not They exist, religion does give people spiritual well-being, but sometimes i can't help but be disillusioned with all this religion thing -- makes you really wonder sometimes the da vinci code does hold some truth. i don't believe any of the victims deserved to die. they just did, because humans are psychotic, and no one up there helped, if there's even someone up there at all. it's sad. teo spoke at 3:55 PM *** Monday, November 01, 2004 the saga continuesTo: "'surviv3R@yahoogroups.com'"From: "Jasmine Chong" Date: Mon, 1 Nov 2004 17:56:43 +0800 Subject: RE: [surviv3R] SS notes well, well, hope all of u can lend your shoulder for Jian Feng to cry on, didnt know he has been suffering so much in silence.. poor thing... guess after the emotional turmoil, Jian feng will be ready to stand tall and strong for all the challenges coming up, good luck!! -----Original Message----- From: Lee Jian Feng [mailto:yorke_rulez@yahoo.com] Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 5:44 PM To: surviv3R@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [surviv3R] SS notes Yeap yeap, thanks a lot Mrs Chong it would definitely ease the immense pain and suffering I have felt over these torturous days caused by the mystery of the missing legitimate cca records and attributes.
