8.5 quake in north sumatra

a quake measurin up to 8.5 on the richter scale hit north sumatra juz now at abt 1230am. frickin scary. i was sittin in front of my comp tokin to odac pple abt camp den my chair and the screen started shakin. made me feel lyk i was kayakin on choppy waters liddat. made me a bit nauseous. =S bike was rollin arnd. lamp was shakin. damn freaky. my sis saes got alot of small insects lyk ants crawlin arnd oso. den i went downstairs wif my family bcos my neigbour told us to. den saw cockroaches crawlin arnd oso. and pple's pet dogs barkin. waited awhile den went baq upstairs again. not much news available now. quite freaky. singapore still quite safe lar. imagine all the poor pple in sumatra. freakin suay. i in sg damn scared liao lar. imagine wad it lyk to be at the actual place. it will be hell all ovr again if got tsunamis again man. and even without tsunamis it mite be shit oso. still abit giddy now. crap. too many bad tings are happenin in dis world. fukin shit.

it's rj's loss

Heeey bonks and cai man! We miss you! It's RJ's loss that they can't keep you in. I'm really glad that you people ponned school to come to rj today and laugh together at yehmin's record-breaking act of intelligence. JAE is soo screwed up and luckily no future batches will have to suffer under its total inefficiency and lack of rational decision-making skills.

School's started again how boring. My class is totally intact..no changes at all. That's quite unfun...i wished there would be someone new coming in to add new excitement in class and make school more interesting. The novelty of a new classmate should last at least one week.

DVD marathon at cheese-fat's house was not bad...though actually only one out of the three (A Beautiful Mind) was nice. We were just conned by "The Return"..how on earth did it win so many prizes? its so crap even cheese doing a mime would be more interesting. And Cheese made me have stomach upset by making me finish a whole tub of Very Rocky Road Ice cream =(.

life's just so screwed up recently.

appeals - need i say more? to pehpeh, bonks, jong, cai, sinchi: maybe i've never been close to you guys, but those moments we had together, playing soccer or just bantering, i treasure them, and over the years i've come to love you guys in own fashion. i guess thats whats different about ri from rj - we needn't even be close or anything to enjoy each other's company. look on the bright side - at least you still have each other, right? but i'll still miss you guys. must come back play soccer on saturdays okay? and hopefully the rj judo teacher can help bonks and tehgo get in...

o2 - obviously it wasnt a big success. i wanted to leave early...but conscience got the better of me. to us obviously it was sian, but put yourself into o-team's shoes, how would u feel if u put in so much effort but no one gives a damn about it? and what my ogl said about pitying the o team exco who put in so much effort made me feel damn bad so i stayed for entire first day. but sadly i couldnt resist soccer on day 2. owell there was just sth wrong with the atmosphere among my og during o2, was depressing. somehow day 1 was kinda like my worst day in rj =(

there's jian whos getting sued - and for good reason haha. if he never tried to make fun of ngiap since sec1 maybe he wouldnt be in this mess heh. i got nothing to say about rj's screwed up class reallocation though...thought that geog ppl would get transferred to 6c. hope my class gets good newcomers though.

and there's plenty of other reasons i'm upset and confused over. sigh. can't wait for the normal routine school day to kick back in, then maybe i won't have time to think of any other depressing stuff.

anw, todae is a seriously FUCKEDUP day. pple leavin everywhere. fuckedup pple hu shldnt stae but staes (read: fruit). wunderful pple hu shld but didnt (read: all my gd frens out dere). the system is fuckedup. wtf does the sch wan to take in pple hu don even deserve to be seen on the face of dis earth and not take in sum1 hu is decent in every sense but got 9 instead of 8. juz 1 fukin pt awae. wtf man.

o2 is fukedup too. everytin is fuked up todae. i zao aft returnin the bag for collection and walked home. den cycled out to watch the soccer guyz plae. dey plaed well man. but still lost by one goal... =( didn noe leonardi well, but feel damn sad for him anw =S.

heres a guy who liked my game so much he decided to buy it 3 times! unfortunately he chose the wrong site to buy it from. wtf is pdatopsoft i've never heard of them b4..top seller on their site is sum strip poker game, tells u volumes abt their credibility.
lol and this guy wrote sum thousand word essay to try to get his money back..too bad im haven gotten a single cent from pdatopsoft, he can haf fun trying to persuade them to return his money.

As you will see from your records, I purchased a
product called Silent Ngiap from you LAST THURSDAY
(see attached screenshot for proof).

However on your website you make the claim that
registration codes will be sent WITHIN TWO BUSINESS
DAYS of purchase (see second attached screenshot).

It has now been FIVE business since I made the
purchase and I have received nothing.

Therefore, I've needed to buy the product from another
site (one that provides instantaneous fulfilment) and
I respectfully request that you provide me with an
immediate refund for my purchase.

In business, a product provided too late is similar to
a product not being provided at all.

I have also done some research and found that the
developer's email addresses are no longer functional,
making it unlikely that you will be able to provide me
with the license key anyway. (And certainly not within
a reasonable time.)

Further to this, after buying the product on the other
site, I have discovered a major bug that renders one
of the MAJOR ELEMENTS of the product useless! This bug
reduces the game's useability by 50-70%.

(As you will see, it is a maze game. There are a
limited number of mazes already on the game, but the
developer claims that it has a:

"Maze generator to generate mazes ensuring VIRTUALLY
UNLIMITED REPLAYABILITY "

This is completely wrong because on my TUNGSTEN E
using Palm OS 5.0, the game:

- generates NO MAZES but only an EMPTY SPACE with one
item in it
- and then CRASHES your Palm

I have repeated the experiment many many times with
different variables and the problem is confirmed. You
might want to try it yourself on your own equipment.
[If it proves to be neceessary I am quite happy to
reproduce it on my friends' machines - most of them
have Palms or pocket PCs.])

Therefore, this feature, which was at least 60% of the
reason I was williing to buy it (especially since,
otherwise, the game has a very FINITE life cycle), is
completely useless. This is contrary to the claims on
your website.

Essentially, this product is FAULTY!

(In the future I will be making more efforts to
contact the develoer about this, because, apart from
this major problem, it's actually quite a good game.
It's a real shame it's useability is reduced so much
by such an obbvious bug!).

I also need to note that I actually had to purchase
the product from you twice, because the first time I
provided the wrong email address. The reason I did
this was because TIME WAS IMPORTANT TO ME. I wanted to
use the game at the earliest possible time. And I am
still waiting. Anyway, the upshot of this is that you
will need to refund me both amounts, please.

I'm sure you can appreciate that:

* for his part, the developer would have no need of me
buying the same product from him THREE TIMES -
ESPECIALLY considering it has a major bug
* for your part, the small commission you receive on
each purchase would not be near anything like the
eventual costs of:

- action taken with U.S consumer protection
authorities and
- various forms of publicity on the web

that could ensue if you decided to be unreasonable
about this.

Please forgive the harsh tone of this letter. I have
to be frank and say that I am going straight into this
mode of address simply because of bad experiences with
other online businesses in the past, in particular
TICKLE.COM. I would be very happy to outline some of
the problems with this company for you if you
requested details, but in the end they did provide me
with a refund for the - again - relatively small
amount that they took. But I was so angry with their
behaviour that I was willing to spend substantial time
and energy to provide some kind of justice to the
situation.

The other thing I would like to say to whoever is
reading this email is - please don't take this
personally: it is addressed to your company as an
ENTITY not to you personally, so please don't take it
as a personal attack. It's not.

However, this notwithstanding, I am serious about this
request.

As a former public relations consultant and current
advertising copywriter, I know the value of a
company's reputation and the difficulty and cost of
repairing it after it has been damaged.

I hope you value yours more than the couple of dollars
you will gain by unfairly keeping my money despite the
fact that:

- the order was not fulfilled within the time promised
for all the world to see on your website (and since
you don't provide immediate fulfillment on many items,
that makes it even more important to the average web
customr that they can TRUST YOUR WORD on DELIVERY
TIME)

- the developer does not seem to be contactable

- the product has a major bug that renders at least
half of its features useless.

Finally, consider this. Consider your INDUSTRY...When
consumers buy a faulty product (or product
expectations are otherwise not met) at the
supermarket, they just TAKE IT BACK AND GET A REFUND.
Easy! Simple! Fair. But perhaps NOT - ON THE WEB! It's
definitely not in the long-term financial interests of
companies like yours for consumers to start to build
up the impression that getting simple refunds out of
WEB companies is WELL NIGH IMPOSSIBLE.

"If you bought it on the web - FORGET ABOUT IT! YOUR
MONEY'S GONE! That'll teach you for trusting an online
company/shop. Next time, shop in the real world."

This is not good for the industry.

So please - act more like your local supermarket than
some impossible-to-reach shoddy outfit based on a porn
server a smoky backroom in Russia somwwhere....!

Anyway O2 was boring today. Not the fault of the Oteam, but cos' everybody had no enthusiasm. By station games, my OG only had 4 people left, even the new guys ponned, but I guess that's our fault too for not making them feel welcomed and comfortable around us. Our OGLs called up after their CTs only to find that there was nobody around already. So sad ):

My new house is not too bad. It's kinda small and cosy. I can walk from my room to the kitchen and back again within a few minutes. Having cheese as a neighbour is very negligible, in fact I don't even see him. What's terrible is that this place has no basketball court or empty field and the playground is very small and has no swing. This makes me feel very deprived cos' there's nowere to play.

Anyway one of the bedrooms is filled entirely with boxes and I think the pump is in there. I need to pump my soccer balls! :/ Argh. this is so crappy.

Life is very boring without soccer and a computer.

Hopefully O2 will be better tmrw and PLS PLS PLSSSSSS let girls soccer be approved. Do not let Mr. Tharman's great efforts be in vain.

juz by lookin at the title, u can prob guess wad dis post is gonna be abt. and the average iq of the two main characters.

todae durin chem lect, me moski wendy and bessie were doin our usual stuff of plaein word games etc. so todae we happened to plae the game where u add a letter before or after another letter and add and add so on, makin sure tt the group of letters formed each time muz alwaes be part of a word. but when a person is forced to form a word by addin one letter, tt person lose. sadly, i was paired up wif amos teh loser in dis game. firzly, he alr lost lyk 9 rnds in a row.. notwithstanding, he decided to displae his true level of intellect to us. when we reached the grp of letters "LUMB" it was amos' turn to add a letter. after starin at the paper earnestly for at least 10 mins, he jumped up in excitement and shouted "Oh, i can put clumBsy... oh crap, i will lose aniwae." at dis pt. all of us were laughin hysterically abt amos' spellin of clumsy. den aft laughin a bit at his own stupidity, he went baq to starin at the piece of paper, in search for a lifeline, but to no avail. as the lecture draws to a close, amos suddenly dawns upon a fact... "whats wrong wif 'clumBsy'?... oh its spelled 'clumsBy' isit?" at dis pt, i cld not hold it animore and i juz laughed lyk mad at the top of my voice. luckily lecture over liao... den he decided to ask ms sarah hiong, our phy relief on how to spell 'clumsy' and den he finally learns how to spell the realli difficult word pronounced 'Clum-Sy'...

and dis is not the end... as we were walkin to pe lesson, i started spreadin dis delightful story to as many pple as possible. and we began to tok abt how amos' intelligence actualli improved after watching joey on friends... anw, we met chees and i began to retell e story. obv chee began to laugh at moski in a bid to make sum1else look stoopid for once. however, chee decided to join in teh stupidity and when moski asks chee how to spell 'clumsy', chee promptly spelled it as 'clumBsy'...

sorri i so slow to wish u guyz. bin awae and didn brin hp so cut off frm rest of civilisation...

anw, odac march adventure camp realli roxxos man.

firz dae: odac started off characteristically slowly... realli reminds me of a slightly more efficient hqncc sumtimes... took a coach to outside nat stad to start kayakin. did a single kayak all the wae round the mouth of kallang river to along ecp, when i was forced to swap to a dragon boat... -_- anw, dis dragon boat was filled mostly wif the stronger guyz, but everybodi was realli stoned and damn slack. damn irritatin lar, alwaes ended up even slower den the other dragon boat which was filled mostly wif zabos. disclaimer: im not bein sexist here, its juz tt most guyz are stronger den gurls... but obviously wif screwed up pple lyk bentay aka fruit in the guyz dragonboat, we ended up lyk shit. everybodi was strikin the water at diff timin. anw, stopped at a realli desolated and choppy area of the ecp beach for a short lunch bcos of the vvvvv strong waves at tt time. i promptly carried out my stunnin feat of eatin 10 fruitellas at one go. quite shen. got super sugar rush aft tt. den i sneaked off to join the other dragonboat aft tt. dis dragonboat now is so much more enthu and disciplined and motivated, no screwedup shits lyk aforementioned. we went lyk IN-OUT, OOH-AAH, GAYBEACH-KINKI etc. for timin. damn fun lor. altho me and jasong ended up wif slightly irritated throats aft tt. beached up at ecp i tink a bit ahead of time. so mrchua got us to practice enterin water on kayaks alone and double w/o help, and how to row dragonboat properly. cookin dinner aft tt. not bad dinner, rounded off wif delicious my mum's puloh hitam. did sentry and slept aft tt. learnt abit abt starwatchin frm jeffery chua. froze frm slpin in the open beside sea.

second dae: woke up to start dae off wif dragonboat. dis time wif tao jasong ye vera hulz charlene limin azhar huitin shuting zikai rebecca mya junli and cant rmb hu else. sang and sang alot. damn fun. we came up wif our fav song which was "if we hold on together" and the best rowin song "ten little indian boys" wif diff variations such as countin multiples, fibonacci sequences, squares, prime numbers etc. den ye thot of realli gd idea of dedicatin "shalalala" for mr shah, which ended wif us earnin a dinner frm mr shah. tide was wif us. so we reached destination much earlier den expected. met rj canoeists at kallang. aft washin, walked a longlong wae to meet up wif the rest of odacians and had our mobile lunch at the end of sea ex. i oso broke my toenail while tryin to plae football.. >< rode bus baq to rj. stoned arnd abit bcos nid to wait for low to come baq wif feiwus soc players lyk chees and yehmin. rode north and ate at sum not v nice place along the highwae. reached campsite at abt 12 i tink. den pitch tent and blahblah until abt 2 den slp. realli warm on firz nite man, inside the tent.

3rd dae: woke up to nice milo made by taotao and rest of foodies. felt quite stoned until went to washup. prep for climbup was damn long due to typical loooooooooooong mrlow speech. belumut lyk ophir liddat. got dis part lyk the dreaded KFC- kill feelin centre. got dis super high steps which is lyk up to my neck or smth. and den its super steep. i tink the entire portion wif the steps may be even steeper den most parts of ophir. but overall belumut was still easier den ophir lar. top of belumut view was spectucular. damn nice. can see for miles and miles and miles. den me and jasong did a titanic pose at the edge of the cliff, got captured on camera by junli... =P climb down was damn fun. mastered the art of fast footwork to go down. our grp made it down damn fast, almost caught up wif the grp which left half an hour ahead of us. den went to the river which was almost as gd as the ophir, but ophir still better. damn cold water. damn song. and hulz got high on cold water and started goin mad, almost sufferin a loose jaw frm laughin. and we had damn alot of water fights. and at the end was most funny. ramu suddenly had a leech on his leg and he was lyk screamin for his life. muz see urself to get how funny it was. huanna, u shld go suan him or smth. he was the onli loser hu got a leech the entire trip =D. den came dinner, which was lyk super shen. our grp (foodies + me + elly + eddi + darren ye) was damn shen. we made damn nice macaroni wif cream of mushroom and sausages, which was better den the un the teachers made. den me and nini made the pro-est barley water one can make outdoors for the entire odac. we are super super duper pro lar. everybodi was lyk comin for more and more barley. and we didn hav prior exp in barley water. lolx. we are pro!

campfire was quite shitty. not as gd as teh btc un. onli our cookin grp was enthu enuff. everyone else was lyk damn stoned and shitified. sang lotsof song. den i volunteered elly to sing solo. but bein the nice cookin grp we are, we decided to sing wif her. bcos we cant tink of ani song cept for 'if we hold on together' which was alr sung, we decided to sing moski' fav westlife's 'my love'. den i cemented my rept as a uber gay by dedicatin the song to jasong. =P haha. btw, me and jasong were lyk flirtin wif each other openly throughout the camp on the bus and everywhere. hahaaz. den ended off wif teachin odac song which was done by hulz me tao and dballs. at nite plaed cards wif jasong mya tao charlene limin hulz until lyk 2oclk. plaeyed bridge and den blardi knuckles. taoni damn pro, firz time drew the red queen and got 20 hard knocks frm jasong, resultin in torn skin on his knuckles. den taoni got his revenge when jason lost 6 out of 8 Ninety-nine games. slept on jasongs legs for the rest of the nite.

fourth dae: woke up to food ics' pancakes. den sang bdae song for limin. struck tent and den we had lunch at sum funny seafood restaurant. not bad food. but quite little. we had msia's fav oatmeal prawns again (rmb sec3 chinese msia trip!!) and their chilli crab was lyk the bestest bestest man. the sauce was OMFFFFFFG-hot. even taoni said its hot. so its frickin hot. den had damn nice coconut water oso, courtesy of mrlow. den on the bus baq, i once again publiciseed my gay intentions by expressin my glee when the guide told us abt the rich and drop-dead gorgeous grandson of the sultan of johor. and once again by groanin loudly when told tt he was studyin sumwhere in australia. reached baq sch v tired and we discovered tt one of the odac hamsters had passed awae and we performed a burial for it. damn sad. went home wif nini and vera.

haix, damn sad, everybodi tinks im gay now. heehee

Save the vegetables!

stufff tt happened yest

i got 7pts. still abit pissed off. rather hav my prelims results. anw teamxians did well mostly ritez? congrats to huannaabanana aka huahua hu got 10als. and oso to all the 11alers.

anw, we went to eat at dis not v nice and abit exp place called yukinoyaki at cine. don go dere. v little variety of food. and esp if u r wif chee and pong. dey wld try to help u do the cookin but fail to do ani productive ting in the end. lucky got pro odacians in taoni and me. hehz.

den we watched a reali gd show. HOWL's MOVING CASTLE (pronounce haoru no ugoku shiro). cant sae tt is a gd plot or wad. but nice enuff. touchin and sweet. gd anime and stuff oso. hayao miyazaki is shen. muz watch. go wif ur gfs or bfs. seriously.

anw, the main pt of dis post is to once again expose cheesoz' disgustiness to the rest of the world. aft the movie, we (taoni huanna pong me chee) went to teh toilet. yes u read tt rite. chees went to the toilet not to stone but to PISS. woow. but dats not all. while noticin chee at the urinal in mid-pissin mode, i spotted sum white thing on beside his lips, presumably a stray piece of thread or dirt. bein the nice fren i am, and not wantin him to walk arnd lookin stoopider den he is, i alerted him to dis fact. guess wad he did? he extracted his hand frm the urinal mid-peein and touched his face to try to remove tt piece of dirt. imagine our shock at his digustin habit. we were properly disgusted and immediately exited the restrm, in a bid to disassociate ourselves wif tt disgustin fellow. so pple nxt time u hang arnd wif chees, BE CAREFUL OF HIS HANDS!!! DONT BORROW HIS HP EVER AGAIN!!!

btw, im onli postin dis bcos huanna wanted me to. so i shall not be held liable for the repercussions of dis post.
