Cheese is our best friend

A poem titled: Cheese
We took a train down to Serangoon,
to play some games and have some fun.
When we reached a bus stop,
Pong asked us to take the bus 53 to Bishan.
Almost immediately, Pong realised his mistake,
And told us to go to the opposite side to take.
And so we went,
And there we waited.
In a short while, the bus came.
All of a sudden, Cheese exclaimed,
"STOP! PONG FAKED US! THAT IDIOT! THIS IS THE WRONG WAY,
WE MUST GO TO THE OTHER SIDE!"
We were stunned and waited for an explanation.
And as the bus pulled over in front of us,
Cheese wisely explained "This bus goes to Pasir Ris!",
while pointing at the bus not 2 metres away from him.
We had our doubts, we questioned him, cheese stood firm and said he was right! He shook off our protests "Do you think i am wrong? Of course not! This bus will lead us the wrong way!"
All of a sudden, the bus started moving away, the growing uneasiness getting stronger.
And then we realised that Cheese was wrong, that in fact, it passed through Bishan Interchange!
In his glorified retardedness, Cheese forgot to flag the bus down,
and instead explained illogical things to us.
As we looked at the bus move off,
we made a mad sprint for the bus, and hammered on the door.
But alas! It was too late.
We certainly looked like idiots chasing after a bus that we had just ignored.
In mortified silence we walked back to the bus stop.
We wanted to slap him, but there were too many people there.
As Bonks spouted many vulgarities in a low volume,
Yorke just shook his head in sad silence, how could anyone question the profound knowledge of pong?
And Benny who had watched the entire episode,
chuckled and boarded his bus 1 minute after.
After countless minutes, another bus arrived.
Cringing in embarrassment as the people at the bus stop wondered why we boarded yet another 53,
we entered the bus and searched discreetly for a place to beat Cheese up,
but alas! there was none.
And in the end we reached Bishan, 15 minutes later than we were supposed to.
Our hearts mourn for the quest time we have missed, our dull eyes mirror the disappointment we have in cheese.

its not my fault tt chees has such a name and tt i accidentally chose to call him...

anw. i thot tt phantom of the opera was very good. songs were v nice. wld be nicer if don have bonks and sinchi tokin bout illumination of tits beside me. and the bunch of irritated girls in front. music of the night was v gd. donnoe wads the male lead's name but i thot tt he expressed his emotions well by his singing. music of the night is a damn gd song. can showcase a large range of emotions by changin the lyrics and the wae u sing it. lovely show. but got sum stoopid reporters for you zhou kan damn dumb. sae tt when the actors speak their lines by singing it, v bie4 niu3. wtf. hav u nvr watched a musical before? mebbe a musical has all the actors singin inside. damn dumb lar. if not, call musical for wad? bcos they don sing at all? damn fkin dumb. and they sae the male lead has not much expressions on his face. but dis is quite made up for wif the emotions comin frm the song wad, which is of cos wad a musical shld be focused on, the msgs comin frm the music. basically, poto juz rox. ok dere was dis part tt suxed a bit thoh. the part near the end where christine kisses the phantom and the phantom finally decides to let them leave. i din realli grasp wad his facial expressions were tryin to sae... but anw. the phantom was v sad. POTO was gd. go watch it.

Here's something funny.

While we did a tour de RJC ourselves today, Benny and Teo got separated from me and Cheese and others. Then cheese was walking behind 2 rjc girls and benny wanted to call cheese so he said
"Hey Cheeks" which was quite funny cos he sounded like he was calling the 2 rjc girls hey chicks.

I was just telling Cheese something i saw on the news. Some reporter was interviewing this kid who lost his dad in the tidal wave and the reporter asked him "What did you lose?"..to which the kid replied "My gameboy." Then i told cheese that boy's treatment of his parents is as bad as Cheese's. Cheese replied in defence:

phantom of the opera

just came back from dinner after phantom of the opera. it was pretty good, i mean obviously the songs were great, i pretty much liked the movie adaptation as well. wanna go watch the broadway version in e future n compare it to the movie. still can't quite figure out how they pulpl poto off as a musical drama, some of the stuff seen on the silver screen don't seem to be able to be translated into theater...

anyway. started off morning at j8 waiting for ppl to turn up for breakfast at 9 and as usual huanna, and this time pong, woke up at 9+ instead. went for e rjc thing which was quite stupid as we stood there using dunno-what party stuff to cheer them on as they walked in. oh please. then we went walking all over the campus. rjc is still decent i guess, but its a big let down. i very much prefer hcjc its big airy and spacious, rjc is kinda big and has a lotta weird pathways that dont seem to be used. and it doesnt convey a sense of spaciousness so for someone claustrophobic like me i dont like the place. and it doesnt look super state-of-the-art or beautiful, with the exception of the rather impressive lecture theatre 1. so on the whole yea rjc is still passable but not nice.

den played soccer which was kinda fun today. ya den after lots of soccer went for phantom of the opera, ate a burger then had no appetite for dinner after that at s11. and now im super hungry. shall go grab a bite.

by the way details for the 31st:

meet at harborfront at 0845. we shall leave by bus to get into sentosa. don't be late or you can go figure out how to get into sentosa yourself. bring money for entrance fee (shld be $4 and below) and lunch. we'll be playing soccer n walking arnd n talking cock or sth, so yea be there ya.

its sad

i actually intended this to be a cheerful entry.. but there was no way that i could fake my emotions after my mum told me about the news.. today i spent my entire morning and afternoon in school playing soccer with two different groups of adults... yeah i skipped church cos i overslept... but anyway after that i returned home and went immediately to play soccer with my neighbourhood friends at the park.. we were playin until later i took a shot and my friend who was younger and smaller than me suddenly flared up and came over to me and asked me whats your problem even when i didnt do anything... then i held him and he punched me in the face.. my first reaction was to smack him back, but something held me back... and i thought to myself that now im a changed person, no longer the same old person and i guess thats why i didnt retaliate.. and instead i told him to hit me somemore... sounds stupid rite? but thankfully he didnt.. i just held back my punch no matter what, and i thank God for that.. but at the same time, i would like to talk about the earthquake.. when i reached home and checked my hp, i received a few msges and the first i read was from my ex-church teacher eugene who told me about the earthquake and that many ppl died.. he added that its very unfair to them and wad a christmas gift for them... haish seriously i was so upset i teared and cried while i took my bath... ): i dunno why God is letting this happen also, i really dont but ill never lose my faith over him.. God can you please answer me...? anyway i just pray for those in thailand and indonesia and Maldives who got affected by this... may the Lord relieve their sufferings..

on another note, i dun mind soccer on 29th and lets go to sentosa too later when everyone is free okay? teo pls arrange thx..

need help!

okay so being pissed off with my internet explorer that somehow froze everytime i clicked on favourites, i decided to heed huanna's advice and get firefox. which is perfectly fine except for the fact that e team x blog looks kinda weird now, i dun really like the scrolling as compared to IE, and most importantly, for some weird reason everytime i click on my manutd.com bookmark, it appears in the sidebar instead of the main one. can someone help me here?

anyway the sentosa thing we can have it on 31st rite? i guess we shld all be free, plus no one shld be having any reunion or family things...i think. or we cld have it after the rjc thing on 29th which would mean very late, plus cheese mite possibly be unable to make it. he'd be too tired anyway. otherwise we cld go on 2nd jan, or watch singapore myanmar. something tells me i shldnt watch singapore though.

last of all heres wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS one and a half hours before the day itself. just a question though: when someone mentions christmas, why issit that the first thing we think of is santa claus, reindeers, christmas trees and presents? isn't christmas to celebrate jesus instead?

thank u dings, for havin us again. we did more or less same stuff as alwaes, mahjong, movie, we8(not we7 animore), computer games, drinking alcohol, watchin stoopid shows lyk goldmember and reading abt felicia chin on fhm. quite fun. in fact very fun. yehmin was bein a peeg again and slept the earliest and the most-est. tt fat idiot knee-ed me in my shin durin the dae while plaein soccer and there is now a 6cmx5cm bruise now. it hurts. but i keep hittin his wound oso. so we are quits. :P yehmin also displaed his intelligence again. when me cai dings were drinkin bacardi coke (meaning 1/5 bacardi wif 4/5 coke) durin mahjong, yehmin came ovr and was whinin to drink frm my cup. so dings ask him to make himself frm the kitchen. so yehmin smartly poured out an entire cup of bacardi and attempted to drink it. total intelligence. 40% alcohol. not bad. one sip and my chest was feelin damn warm liao. yehmin is so smart. and den yowie was saein tt i looked drunk and damn red in the face. but mebbe i am. i went mad yesterdae when plaein mahjong. instead of callin dings 'dings', as everybody includin me does, i called him 'ryan' for lyk three times. and aft i called him ryan, i myself find it soundin weird. so mebbe i did had too much to drink. muz be mad liaoz. mebbe my callin is to become a teacher bcos onli teachers call him ryan...

so when do we go sentosa to plae soc? how bout 29 or 30. so tt ahgou is baq. and lets watch meet the fockers (nc-16), as we are all alr or goin to be 16. or we can watch b4 27 dec so pong cannot go watch. :)

Friendships new and old

The holidays are fleetingly fast! Not that i'm complaining though, its been rather boring and my mind feels lazy. Even holding a pen feels alien to me now. Me pong and taoni went for a little cat high reunion today, no toktok though. It's our second in 3 days..our old teachers just can't seem to get enough of us=). It's really incredible how people can change( in appearances) so much in a short span of 4 years but their character remains very much the same. Me, pong, Keith, Gerbert, taoni...well everyone didn't recognise Caleb, this guy who went on to ACS. We all thought he was just a friend someone brought along. gosh.
Our teachers treated us to swensens ice-cream haha oh and there was this waitress that chinks said looks like felicia chin and that jian will like her. After that rich taoni wanted to go shopping so me and pong left him to walk around bugis ourselves. Then as we walked outside Perlini's silver we found taoni inside. HMMM.
The new school year is coming already! We'll probably stick to each other for the first few months but its inevitable that we'll break out into different cliques after that. Sigh that's sad. I hate changes. Secondary school has been one heck of a ride and we survived it. So here's to you, team-x. As we make new friends don't forget the old ones okay? And try not to change too much so we can't recognise each other anymore.

Anyway just to rant..
Sentosa is a money rip, so is bintan ):

The only worth it thing about Musical Fountain. Actually its very worth it.

As for bintan its 100% money rip. The beach has no pollution but a lot of tar gets washed up so you can't play beach soccer if not your ball will get tarry. Anyway 14 hours of sleep a day over there isn't too bad.

Aardwolf quest in 4 minutes... yawn.

Can't decide whether to watch national treasure or oceans12 with my friends. Everybody has mixed reviews about both movies. Some say oceans is boring, some say it is soooo cool, then some say nt sucks but others say its good. Oh well. Maybe I'll just keep the cash and go buy this Paul Scholes cap I've been eyeing.

went to orchard last nite wif my family. met shuaku at centrepoint. christmas lighting at orchard realli looks terrible. more or less same as orchard lyk wad... 8 yrs ago? dis yr supposedly planned by mr dick lee. realli borin decor man. walked arnd and arnd. orchard shops shld hav later closin hours man. a third of them are closed at 9+ when there are still tons of shoppers walkin arnd.

does agou have internet access in australia. ahgou are u readin dis? u fool wif super rich taste. askin for barca jersey and ipod for ur bdae. go to hell lar. not everybody sit firstclass every yr and got parent earnin big bucks frm viagra sales. :D anibodi got ani idea wad to buy for ahgou?

China bans popular online football game

Beijing - China has banned a popular British online computer game that portrays Taiwan, Tibet and Hong Kong as independent countries, the ministry of Culture said.

Football Manager 2005, developed by London-based Sports Interactive, "poses harm to the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity", the official Xinhua news agency said on Wednesday.

"Such a distortion, even in a computer game, violates the relevant Chinese laws and is anathema to the Chinese government," it cited the ministry as saying.

China considers Taiwan, which separated from the mainland in 1949 after a civil war, as a province awaiting reunification.

bleagh.

just back from KL after trip with parents. am pleased to say that this will probably be my second last trip with them as a non-adult. i think. last will be next june where i get to see my brother's grad in the states. and he's gonna hook me up with some 14yo jap girl. hope shes chio. actually doesnt matter as long as can communicate with her, and she isnt some ayumi-wannabe.

ah. somehow or another i started to worry about the o's a lot in malaysia. and i kinda figured out of 11 subjs, i've 1 confirmed a1, and feel certain for only 4 more. bio and french are pretty much hope-for-the-best, chem is super worrying cos everyone says its easy but i found it challenging, and knowing me i always slacken off on my last paper. physics is always like, i dunno if i did well. geog i think i did try my best but as i've come to realise my best isnt always enough, and for once im worried about hcl after seeing my disastrous prelims, n worrying if my essay will end up like the prelim's. all in all i'm totally uncertain of my 9 a1s. oh man pls pls pls lemme get it.

anyway jc is like, coming soon, y'know. in the end after all the whatever considerations i chose to be lazy and just stuck with rjc. my mom was very pro-rjc and so was nearly everyone around me, but in the end i guess the most impt factors for choosing rjc was cos its so easy to just choose that, n cos it has a good reputation with american unis. as for subj combi first choice is pcme, second is trip sci.

cca. aie. i guess im gonna go for volleyball pretty much cos my senior told me to. i wanted soccer i guess, but my parents as usual won't allow me. and even my brother doesnt want me to cos of the injuries, so fine. actually its quite true lah, if u kenna inj now for rest of life its pretty sad. its just that i cant quite see myself getting injured so easily. anyway i don't like rjc's cca choices. i dont wanna join council, and no matter how much my parents are gonna threaten me i am most likely not going to join council no matter how good it might make my testimonial look. i guess its just a sports cca and some other merit kinda cca. if i had gone hwa chong it'd be wushu and council, which i'd love. but thats not gonna happen so nvm.

anyway. i remember benny talking about how he wanted to see cheese would be like in jc, and on a separate occasion said cheese would be buaya. and cheese has already set his gears in motion with his acquisition of his sony ericsson. do play close attention to cheese hanky-pankying next year, okay?
