soccer tournament

hey
the boon lay youth club is organising a sports festival/carnival in 3rd july(after the common test), one of the games in which there will be a tournament is street soccer. apparently we're lacking ppl to take part in the games, so we need more ppl to come down.
are u all interested in taking part(most likely will be 5 a side, prizes and trophies are included) or something, and you can also go for the soccer clinic which most likely will be featuring players from Albirex Nigata.

learning journey

havent blog here for awhile. my class had learning journey todae. and we went to mediacorp at andrew road. which is lyk frickin near rj. anw it wasnt anithin much lar. sum stoopid talks by mda and mediacorp pple. den went tour. tts the nice part. firz we went studio6, which is lyk their largest set. and christopher lee was filmin sum show wif yvonne lim. discovery1: local actors speak alot of hokkien wif each other in between filmin. so much for speak proper mandarin and english by the govt. discovery2: the sets are damn fun to plae in. its realli lyk a real hospital. discovery3: spore tv dramas realli sux beeg time. din noe whether the actors were bein lame or the script was reali tt sux cock.

den my grp went to the radio section firz. the contis (donno how to spell, but basically the self-contained, well-equipped rooms tt u see radio deejays work in) are realli nice and cool. saw some 93.8 woman on air. den we went to trafficwatch department where amos made a fool of himself by insultin dem quite loudly. discovery1: trafficwatch and lta is freakin scary. dey got cameras all ovr the streets (those u c on top of lamps) includin places lyk orchard and even sumwhere near rj which dey can zoom in from. zoom in enuff to see pple faces and car no plates frickin clearly. lyk big brother liddat.

den nxt is the cool part. we went upstairs, walked past class95 and saw rod inside. he damn nice. keep wavin to us. den nxt, went to PERFECT10!!!. justin ang inside packin up to leave. so we enter. den vernon a entered! he gave us a intro abt all the stuff he do and the computers and stuff he use to host the prog. damn cool. got damn long lists of songs. den when his show started he announced us to national radio and he actualli allowed us to make noise and show tt we are dere!! haha damn frickin cool! discovery1: a deejays life seems quite fun! the contis look damn cool. and the work seems relatively ez enuff... discovery2: vernon a smokes! can smell the frickin strong smell of tobacco from him bcos we were standin so close together. discovery3: VERNON A IS ONE COOL DUDE. thx to him, we actualli went on NATIONAL RADIO LIVE albeit for a very short and unremarkable period !!! hehz. how cool is tt! discovery4: jean danker has a damn NICE voice! she was saein hi to us as she walked past. and she has damn NICE legs too. thx to bessie and wendy hu pointed tt out. whooo. discovery5: PERFECT10 DEEJAYS ARE ALL FREAKIN NICE! dey all anihow anihow juz start tokin to us lar. justin ang oso. took same lift as us down later. discovery6: i wan to be a deejay!!! (yar rite...)

den went to see the news section which was freakin borin. so i shant blog abt it. =P

anw ora soc starts at 8am. muz report by 8am at ri. i supp its specs gal lar. k?

jerseys!

hello all printing costs for jersey is $12 so u ppl hafta pay up on thurs again so that we can collect jerseys on fri! and u all can stay to collect e jerseys on fri afternoon :) anyway let's all be very thankful cos tok did a really good job bargaining down the price on the jersey and the chopra sports printer gave us what i felt was a really good price n he was really reasonable even though e font we wanted caused him more trouble. the service is chopra is really good! must go there to print all future jerseys!

team x, right from the start.

for those who remember team x right from the beginning, this was kinda like what happened

1) team x formed by moski, chee, jian, tao, leehu, shua, huanna, benny, tok, me.
2) i convince nat to play somewhat as a guest player cos i was extremely curious about how good she is
3) we got second. in the ensuing euphoria we, or maybe i, kinda overlooked the fact that nat wasn't officially on the team cos she did play for us
4) team x blog set up. me being me convinced her to be part of the blog even though she was reluctant and doubted everyone else would really accept it.
5) me being me (again!) convinced her to play soccer at ri on saturdays after o's if she wanted.

well basically what resulted is that nat was considered part of team x...since last year's ora. and well i've certainly kinda figured that some ppl in and out of team x weren't exactly too pleased with this. but in the end it really isn't her fault, she wasn't being extra or anything, i kinda instigated it, so to nat and to these ppl, sorry, it was really my doing, my fault.

and so as this year's ora approaches i guess it's kinda time for us to rethink why team x was formed, and who team x really represents. and so i guess it's best to restate that nat was never part of team x to begin with, it was my folly to ask her to play for us and then kinda include her in everything. nat's still welcome to mix around and play soccer with us n whatever as long as everyone's fine with that though, but team x will remain as team x. maybe some of us can't play this year and we're getting others to play for them, but they won't be team x though they play for us. in that sense perhaps we're kinda exclusive or whatever, but well, thats the way team x is. :)

main purpose of this post is to make it clear that well nat isnt and shouldnt have been considered part of team x and any doubts over that were probably due to my error, so sorry to whoever may have been offended by it somehow. but well nat understands and i hope everyone understands where i'm coming from and what i'm trying to bring across ya?

hope no one's offended or anything k...if you are, sorry. but we still love you ya? :)

anyway we got our jersey without all the printing stuff for $20 thanks to chiang's really pro bargaining skills. we gonna go down to penin on monday or tuesday next week to get the stuff printed...we gonna print the circle plus a number in it on the front (like brazil's and portugal's jerseys) with a team x printed on the left in front as well as well as the name and number on the back...so total cost should hopefully be below $35 for what should be a pro jersey! :)

heyz. agree wif teo lar. too bz to get anithin done dis daes... XP. and nxt yr if rj soc get past firz rnd chiang chee shua moski and prob leehao cant join us oso lar. eh leehao u still staein in soc? anw, mebbe we can continue to plae in ora aft we grad! hahaz

anw, i came baq frm gunung panti yest! panti is a 530m high mountain/hill. much easier den belumut, but it was made difficult by the abt 8-10kg backpacks we were carryin. alot of steps up which can kill ur legs. and den the rock face was realli fun. its almost 90degrees but den got alot of realli kewl and nice steps for u to climb up and down quite easily, even wif ur backpack. den the root climbin part, where gu ming si yi, a lot of steep steps and roots for u to pull urself up. real fun. the view frm the summit is breathtakin. especially for a mountain which is but juz 530m high. and the air is damn coolin and nice. and the grnd is frickin nice. damn soft and fine soil/sand grains. put a grndsheet over and u can slp on it lyk u r slpin on mattress. hahaha im exaggeratin but nvm. realli lyked the enviro up dere. esp when u r wif ur gd frenS! =D those pple whom we sat tgt wif at nite and juz toked: taotao elly vera yeye chuazhiting clara jasong! i love all of u! u guyz rox.

dinner was cool. special dinner was a great success. everybodi enjoied it and it was a realli realli gd idea which got every or most pple and their stomachs excitied and happi. my grp special dinner was somewad saved when sng came to help us deepfry the mushy nuggets wif his self-proclaimed best friend, O-I-L... the j2s still thrash us upside down wif their cookin, thx to peiting. basically the j2 guyz juz slack and don cook lar.. =P. and den they had a lot of leftover fried rice so we plaed zong ji mi ma to decide hu to eat it. but since it was so nice and sandy i volunteered to eat a lot of it =P

it was much easier when we came down. did in lyk half the time up. had damn alot of slackin time bcos my grp went down firz and so we waited for the rest. reached baq spore on schedule.

real happi tt the camp was somewhat a success! my firz camp incharge in odac! hahaz. thx to shuting my fellow campcomm, amy junli bryan the vicecomms, elly zikai sng the foodies, and ramu deborah mina teck, chenzheng cheryl the $s! thx go out to all of u! we had a gd time dis past mth plannin dis and we had loots of crap and all tt shit but we still made it! haha.
