Sir Alex hails four-star Dwight

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has hailed four-goal hero Dwight Yorke as the most clinical finisher he has ever worked with.
The Trinadad and Tobagan maestro hammered home his first Red Devils four-timer as United put their Premiership scoring woes behind them to record a 4-1 Champions League win over Sparta Prague to realistically move within a point of a place in the last 16.

Yorke's phenomenal European goals tally now stands at 35 in 36 outings for United since his £12million move from Aston Villa five years ago.

And though he now has Wayne Rooney, Louis Saha and Alan Smith among his team-mates, Ferguson admits he is in a class of his own.

'His record is unbelievable,' said the United chief. 'He is definitely the most clinical finisher I have had at Manchester United.

'He is so quick with his feet and so cool with his finishing.

'If you go back to all the great strikers, the likes of Johann Cruyff, Alfredo di Stefano and Gerd Muller, the platform where they really excelled was in Europe and I think Dwight wants that stage as well.'
