fourth and fifth day of jc

boohooo orientation is over. i like my og now wished they could be my class instead, 1SO6G is so frigging stone is boring the pants off me.

anyway fourth day was quite er stone. wargames were stupid, candle wars cancelled cos of the strong wind. balloon games were quite fun cos there were girls in my group who blew ballooons abt the size of a lemon and were still terrified of them. blah blah there was dance and dunno what else, can't really rmb, then in the evening my OG went to spotlight and plaza sing where we met like 6-7 other OGs who all had the same idea. stayed till damn late cos my OG kept going around to find stuff and sadly caused cheese and hanxu to wait for me for damn long. in the end when everything was settled i left with cheese for esplanade where we danced under some funky dark bridge. actually i think it's a brilliant idea, cos when its so dark you don't feel like ppl are watching, so u dance more naturally. cheese the badegg went just to see yeong chyuan but i felt he was normal lah. chyuan ge can dance the freestyler part which some chicken cannot. anyway don't like cedric koh's dancing, looks too enthu and extra and act cool lah, matin still can pull it off but not cedric. the girl in cedric koh's OG on the other hand is still hyper funky. ah wells.

yesterday started the day with some rubbish called faction initiation when all we did was really play games with our classes. the lie on each others' laps thing was quite tiring esp since i think the chinese scholars dont dare to put their full weight on each other, and neither did the girls. it was screwed lah, the trick is just to have a compact, perfect circle and put all your weight on the next guy, confirm no strain, but as usual my super stone class couldn't do it. all the same i'm thankful for girls in my class cos our class rep and some other girls are very enthu which is good, but the guys (esp wang kan) seem more stone than fdc even. anyway after that we thankfully left to join our OG and whined about how kiam rjc is to give us hotdogs for lunch. we had some super long bus ride to marina square to do the tsunami thing and it was quite dumb cos everywhere we went we saw other rjc ppl, and the passers-by were complaining we shld give out stickers. uhh, rjc isn't red cross, y'know. did the collection thing with vi-zanne, a cute little girl who managed to draw in lots and lots of collections just by approaching ppl. this is unfair lorh, she probably got more money within this one collection than i have had in four years in ri. anyway she's some maths whiz who like tops nygh for maths which reminds me of my glorious past in nyps, as well as my sad experiences of scraping through maths tests in ri sec1-3, heh. after the tsunami thing we went back to school to return the tins, ate dinner then prepared for o nite. we were supposed to dress retro or sth but ended up just wearing black shirts and tying some gold sash anywhere we wanted. rich and meryl did the beauty paegent thing and i think they looked really good. after that went for the campfire which was kinda screwed up lah, but still okay. then our OG went to S11 where we wrote notes for each other, after that it was around 2315 so everyone started to leave to catch the last bus.

and that was it, the end of orientation. i dunno, i felt that our OG was really starting to get close and then we go head to our stony classes. maybe our OG should just meet every night or something outside school, we get a lot more active then. ah well looking forward to our next OG outing which should be sometime soon, meaning next 2 days.

orientation's been so enriching, from observing eugene's dance and leadership qualities, ruimin's motherly instincts, eric's mock gay advances, seeing daniel keep his spirits high despite not getting the humans scholarship inexplicably cos of chinese, rich singing all the time and teaching us the funky chicken cheer, lu shan talking a bit too loudly abt gays and lesbians in single sex schools, george forever being such a gentleman, wyn sen talking to me about gep, sin yong and his funky card tricks, nicholas talking about all the weird yet interesting stuff, jermyn incessantly making fun of denise, qian xiao always being there to talk to, lydia my often MIA dance partner, faustine who looks so familiar, vi-zanne being so bubbly and chirpy, watching sin yong's tricks together with charlene and eric, meryl our very own prima donna, jacintha our lag queen, huiting da man, brenda the man u supporter, esther and clair the ever-silent ones, to jessica who always seems comfy talking to anybody (i think i missed out somebody here but nvm can't rmb now), it's been a hell lotta fun.

i dowanna go back to class.
