cny

heyyy why's everyone sounding so sad? this cny is my best ever in quite a few years!

first of all to avoid being caught dling nfsu2 i decided to buy the cd, but it didnt work, so i borrowed lammo's which didnt work either. so i ended up dling it during cny and its a pretty cool game so i had lotsa fun playing it when stoning at home between visits to relatives during cny.

secondly reunion dinner was way cool cos i really spoke to my cousins for the first time and got a lot closer to them. i guess being in jc with new people certainly has changed me in that i don't clam up that much anymore. but anyway i listened a lot to what one of my 20+ yo cousin was discussing with the adults and it was really cool to see how firm, determined, confident and assured he was -- a person i really look up to. and i think its cool how he thought to himself he was kinda jealous that other ppl's cousins were so close and we werent so he just got us together and got us talking. basically i really respect him and im thankful i have such a great cousin!

thirdly angpow collection was pretty fine for me i guess, got around the usual except i think my mum forgot to give this year or sth...so thats nearly 10% gone. i got $56 more than my brother, who's overseas, but being the nice kind soul i am we split the total angpow collection evenly again.

been drinking quite a bit of alcohol these few days as well and i get a bit high for a while but not really drowsy which probably means i can tolerate alcohol better than my brother, so hooray. i still don't like the taste of beer, though.

today was also a good day for me cos i won $28 on gambling! i think its the fengshui, cos this year our family dinner was at my aunt's new house. in the past it was always at my place and i always end up losing about $10 each year.

lastly we visited our family friend's place and their daughter is really really nice, wonderful, good-looking, sweet, gentle, kind, blah blah blah. but shes 25 and if im not wrong, shes attached so forget it, kiddos. i think it's extremely rare to find a girl with jia jiao like her and unfortunately that means finding someone like her my age is pretty much impossible. at least i can now say i know what kinda girl i have in mind though...

unfortunately tmr i have no idea what to do other than go hongmin's house for about 2 hours. sigh, how come the team x ppl all got other stuff on =(
